This is how you set up the beach volleyball tournament

Pairs and sentence status

When registering, the couple enters both players into the squad. In the setup you set the scoring to sets. If you win two sets you enter 2:0 or 2:1, if you only win one set up to 21 you simply enter 1:0. The balls up to 21 remain on the board at the net.

Fields and weather

Every sand field is a field, and the same is true in the beach hall. Pools are groups, the knockout rounds are the next phase. If a thunderstorm comes, you take a break and move the open games back. The tournament page shows the new times. You don't need WiFi, mobile network is sufficient.

Typical tournaments

01

Summer Cup

Groups in the morning, knockout round as second phase. One field per sand field. One sentence instead of three, if the day isn't enough otherwise: then you enter 1:0.

02

Mixed

Couples as teams. You book the food or shirt as an addition to the registration, not as a separate phase.

03

After work series

Every evening is a game day in the same event. The table runs with you, or you start a new phase every evening.

Here's how to set it up

Four simple steps and the basic structure is in place.

  1. 1

Rating on sentences. In a best-of-three you enter 2:0 or 2:1, in a set up to 21 you simply enter 1:0.

  2. 2

Create each sand field as a field. The fields in the beach hall are the same.

  3. 3

A couple is a team, both players are on the squad.

  4. 4

Add a break to the schedule for thunderstorms or heat and postpone the following games.

Questions about the beach volleyball tournament

How do I register a couple?

As a team, with both names in the squad. The team name appears publicly, the email remains with the organization.

What do I enter as a result?

The sentence status. 2:1 if you win two sets, 1:0 if you only play one set. The points up to 21 remain on the board on the net.

What do I do in a thunderstorm?

Create a break in the planner and move the open games back. The tournament page shows the new times.

Do I need WiFi on the beach?

No. Mobile network is sufficient for entry and for the site. You hang the QR code on the kiosk or tent.

How do I create multiple sand fields?

Each as its own field. The plan distributes the games there. If one field fails, you move the games to the remaining ones.

Create your first tournament. It costs nothing for up to eight teams.

No subscription, no credit card. As the tournament grows, you book the plan just for that one event.
